The Branch Manager will oversee all front office Branch operations for our Ames office.  They will operate independently with little or no day to day supervision.  They are responsible for motivating, managing, coaching and mentoring a staff of approximately 10 employees.  Branch Managers are responsible for growing the membership for their office as well as exceeding member’s expectations in all areas of our company including consumer lending and credit counseling.  Branch Managers meet with members, make loan decisions, close and disburse loans as well as cross-sell additional credit union products and services.  Branch Managers have annual branch sales and production goals to pursue with incentive provided upon attainment of those goals.  Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of consumer lending laws, have prior consumer lending and supervisory experience and possess their credit insurance license.  Starting salary range $55,000-75,000, plus incentive, bonus, & complete benefit package.

Job Requirements


*Promote membership growth through
relationships with local businesses.



*Manage the branch facility, with
responsibility for its overall physical maintenance.



*Review and develop strategic plans in
relation to the branch goals and the overall goals of the Credit Union. 
Provide Vice President of Operations with feedback on a regular basis.



*Coordinate, integrate and supervise all
branch functions to provide quality service to members.



*Monitor office activity, including
number of transactions, teller errors, loan volume and the cross selling of
additional services.



*Maintain compliance for all branch
operations.  



*Participate on the management team by
contributing ideas and concerns. Gather and disseminate information to branch
office staff regarding policy and procedure changes, position openings, new
promotions, etc.


*Interview and make hiring recommendations


*Provide guidance, coaching, and counseling to staff and perform evaluations
for all branch personnel.
