BSA COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST II
SUMMARY: Assist the Chief Compliance Officer and the
Bank Secrecy Officer in originating, implementing and maintaining the Bank’s Bank
Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Assets
Control (OFAC) compliance programs to ensure conformity and adherence with all
applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
analysis, investigation and disposition of alerts in the electronic monitoring
of higher risk client types
Assist in the
preparation and filing of CTRs.
Assist with the management
of the Bank’s CTR Exempt Customers – prepare initial exemption filings and
complete annual reviews.
research and disposition potentially suspicious activity and prepare the No-SAR
or SAR filing memo.
Assist with BSA/AML
and OFAC related training, development and delivery.
Assist in the
development and implementation of the Bank’s AML Program, including the
BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures.
related records according to record retention guidelines.
annual compliance and/or skills training as assigned by the Bank.
preferred, but equivalent banking experience may be substituted.
Minimum of 3 years’
experience in BSA/AML and OFAC.
or willingness to obtain within first year of employment.
applicable regulations/laws including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act,
Office of Foreign Assets Control and USA PATRIOT Act.
Knowledge of Jack
Henry systems and processes, including account opening and related documentation,
Vertex, customer information, monetary instruments, and wire transfers strongly
Yellow Hammer BSA
Software experience preferred.
