We are actively seeking a junior level entry level Administrative Assistant in Newark, NJ for one of the largest Insurance & Investment Corporation in the country.

· Must have between 1-2 years recent experience acting as a true administrative assistant or secretary


· Must have experience performing clerical functions such as filing, scanning, scheduling appointment, meetings, travel arrangements and bookings


· Must be proficient using MS Office products


· Corporate experience is required


· Prior financial services, investment or insurance experience is preferred but not required


· Must be able to work in a professional environment








JOB DETAILS AND FUNCTION:






Location: Roseland, NJ


Duration: 3+ Months Possible temp to perm


Job Category: Administrative


Pay Rate: $16.71/hr


Description:




Provides general administrative support (including, but not limited to, answering telephone, typing, compiling meeting materials, photocopying, faxing, filing, and maintaining/ordering supplies). Receives directions and work is reviewed prior to release. Basic MS Office/Lotus Notes skills and 1 year experience in a similar administrative role required.                   

Documenting, copying and filing of CDs and DVDs received as part of the disability claim management process. Support the move for the Roseland workplace optimization project and assist with  printing and mailing of claim copies
